    ProtoTrak MX2 convert to Mach3 or 4

    Hi
    Is there anyone out there that has pulled the control unit off a ProtoTrack and built a better system?
    I just called Southwestern industries and they have a new controller called the KMX that is a replacement to the old units like mine the MX2
    They gave me a dealer to call and talk about buying one. They want 6 to 10 thousand$$
    Not going to happen, I'll just have to keep using this old MX2

    Couple questions....
    1. Anyone have a place I can call to source drivers for these servo motors?
    2. Is there a market for this old controller? It works fine, I just want an updated system thats better?
    3. Has anyone ever done this before I could talk to?
