    Aligning the x-axis of the turret on a Samsung SL-30 w/ Fanuc Oi control.

    I am trying to adjust the x-axis of the machine's turret in relation to the machine home position. Something was changed on the work tab of the offset screen that sees to have thrown the tools off.

    Are you talking about the work shift? I run a 2010 sl45 with a fanuc 0itd

    Make sure the X is set to zero on work shift and work coords, they should always be zero, I do sometimes shift it so I can dry run a new program above the part like 5" on long shafts between centers. hope this helps
