Choosing Co2 tube for DIY laser

    Hi guys.

I'm building CO2 laser around 45W. I have all the component selected except laser tube. I could fir 100cm tube in my design but I would like to start with 80-85cm tube for a few months.
I'll be cutting max 5mm plyboard and 5mm acrylic.

    My DIY design:

I'm trying to decide between this two:
    Cloudray (noname) CR45:

    And

    Tongli TLC800-50

I really appritiate any constructive comments and suggestions.

    BR,
    Frenky

    Hello Frenky,
In my point view,45W is not enough for cutting 5mm plyboard and 5mm acrylic.
we can talk more in whatsapp or email if you like.

Re: Choosing Co2 tube for DIY laser

    Hello,
I have also the same question. But it's for my second tube.

I'm hesitating between those 2 tubes:

    https://www.aliexpress.com/item/3288...6a725173fPZyib

The first one looks like my first tube but the spot wasn't that good and it has this terrible graphite connection.

The second one looks good because they say it has better spot and more able to cut thin metal. (I was able to cut 2mm mild steel with my first tube).

Does anyone have experience with that kind of tube?
