    Single Board Upgrade

Has anyone done a single board upgrade themselves? Is it as easy as purchasing the PC and installing or is there some integration that needs to happen?

It's not buy any old computer and run the machine. You have to have an ISA backplane to use the Acroloop motion cards. Now I think you can find a "single board computer" that plugs into the ISA backplane and then you can go from there. What processor and such you can upgrade to, I wouldn't know. You are still running software that needs DOS, so maybe early level Pentium processors might be as "advanced" as you can get. I know a few folks have done this on the group, might be able to find reference using the search function.
