Hi guys .,,

I have 2 cnc machines that share a spindle... i have had the Kress 6990 FME spindle up to date , but it died on me today...

So quickly i ordered the 1050 FME-P DI , which has digital speed control..

WHICH works perfectly in my bigger cnc " homemade "... But not so well in my industrial Isel cnc ,,, cause there i have no digital speed control...

SO ,,, i need some advice...

Can i make a manual speed controller with just a powersupply that ranges 0-10v or what can i do ?

The manual states that it needs 24v for powering the speed control electronics inside the spindle , and then 0-10v for controlling the actual speed , and the manual also states that the 24 and 0-10v should have a common ground..

Do they really need to be common ground ., would it not be possible just to connect 24/GND to power it up ., and 0-10v + / gnd to control the speed...

If they must be common ground ., can you guys eventually give me an example on how it would be possible to wire up a system to manually feed the 0-10v to " manually " control the speed..

Cheers all .,

Kristjan
