    Mode3 not working MK3 Board with wired HW MPG

    Hi all

    Everything works fine on MK3 Board with latest TNGv2 Software except the Mode3 for X100.
    X100 Pin from MPG is wired to EN3A/MD3. Its the Pin 8 on the Breakout Board from Planetcnc

    What else i must wire or configure that this works?



    Digital Pins on CTRL in TNG Software shows as follows:


    If,

    X1 then led Input 2
    X10 then led Input 3
    X100 then led Input 11 But why 11? Should it not be the 13 that lights?

    But X100 does not work.

    MPG is wired with standard Breakoutboard from Planetcnc IDC Plug to Screw Terminal....just for Info.

    MPG is the same as Planetcnc does sell, except that it has no DB Plug.

    Hi all

    I really cant understand that this Item is still not better documented! I have bought the MPG bevor PlanetCNC has released there own MPG which is ready for connection. And not to save some money!!
    I am a relatively expierenced electronicien, but this Thema does really very dissapoint me.

    I have read all the Thread thru, but still cant figure out whats wrong with mode 3.
    As written EVERYTHING ELSE is working flawless!
    So also MODE 1 and MODE 2!!

    Do i really have to buy the MPG from Planet (which is essentially the same as i have) just to get the Mode 3 working???

    X100 switch should not be connected to pin EN3A/MD3. With switch position on X100 (Mode3) pins MD1 and MD2 should be on and EN3A/MD3 should be off

    Thank you for the response.
    I know the table and now i just made mode3 running with manual connected the pin. so far so good.
    But how can i without the MPG Board get the md1&md2 the same time up with only one switch position..?

    So i have to make a extra logic....why on earth not just 3 Input pins for the 3 x1/x10/x100 i really can not understand it.
    i apreaciate for the new people buying your ready MPG....but then it was not available.
    So i have to buy the mpg board or make my own logic, altough the board has severell input pins free.....
