    Custom Gcodes and Mcodes

Created some new Gcodes and Mcodes today.

    COOL BEANS (;-)

The Good part about it all is I can create about anything BUT the sad part of it all is I can create dozens of interesting and helpfull functions but they all go by by on teh next update.

Not really, PP creates a new directory for each update & uses a symbolic link "tmc" to point to it. Your creations are still there in the old directory. Just copy them into the new directory & you're good to go.

I have not thought about it but there is probably a way to setup a static location for user defined routines such that PP will have access to them even across updates.

Maybe someone else has already figured this out?

YES you can backup teh actual NGC files and they are stored in teh TMC folder BUT the problem is the remapping is done in teh remap.py to make them G&M codes and that gets overwritten it seems on the new install.

That is one of my next projects to investigate HOW to save all your addons you created and apply them to a new install.
