How to test if modbus is communicating wit my vfd model GT-7RG-2

Did you ever get it to work? I'm using the 2.2k 220v gt series. Have followed every instruction on the forums with modbusez and no luck.

I am using a RS232 program.RS232 Monitoring Software, RS232 Monitoring Hardware and RS232 Terminal Software with a RS485 adapter to test the interface.
However you need a PC with a COM port.

The GT is a completely different VFD than what that plugin was made for, it's worth a try but you don't need the plugin for the GT series to use Modbus
