We have 2 Mori Seiki ZL-25s with the MSC-516 control. We are using the tool life management on these machines. The problem is that one of the machines does not stop the machine from running once the tool life is used up. On the machine that works the way we want it to, the machine will not cycle again until the tool life is reset on the offending tool. On the machine that does not work the way we want it to, we get a message on the display that says the tool is used up, but if the operator doesn't pay attention, they can hit cycle start and the message goes away and the machine will keep running. Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing to prohibit the next cycle?
Thanks
Mark
