Like many newbies i see on this forum site, I could use some help deciding on a quality laser engraver to start an engraving business. I will initially be focusing on engraving wine and liquor bottles with high volume. As I have never used a laser engraver, I'm still in the process of researching everything required to get up and running. I am looking for a quality machine that is relatively easy to use, reliable, has good ongoing support, and able to get replacement parts quickly, when needed. I've spent most of my time looking between Epilog, Universal and Trotec and leaning toward the Epilog Fusion Pro 48. However, there is nearly a $20K price difference between the 30w and 120w. Any thoughts on what wattage I really need to engrave glass? I don't mind spending the money as long as I get a quality system but of course don't want to spend any more than necessary so I'm open to other suggestions. Lastly, when engraving glass, is their anything I might need to be aware of that could cause me problems? I hope to make the trip the the Epilog dealer to get a better idea of the system capabilities. Any advise is appreciated! Thanks.
