    Input assignment

In CNCUSB there was the possibility to assign the same function to several input pins, it was very useful for error e-stops ; in fact, both the VFD and the drivers of the engines and the fog system have the possibility of sending a fault signal if something goes wrong. Obviously I can't connect them in series to use only one input (which is why I bought the ExtIn). In version 22.11 I was pleased to see the implementation of the ExtIn configuration but something is still missing in this; then, in CNCUSB, there are 4 possibilities for the E-Stop:

    . Toggle
    . Push
    . On
    . Off

my E-Stop configuration in CNCUSB was the following

    Attachment 432064

.In TNG V2 it seems to me there is only Push if I'm not mistaken or maybe, I can't find the other possibilitie

    Unhappy Re: Input assignment

I have partially solved for the drivers of the motors using the Err pin of MK3 (I have modified a piece of the electrical panel but now it is ok).
The problem remains of sending the VFD and the fog system to E-Stop.

I I'm not sure I understood you correctly. But I think what you are looking for in TNG is the inverting of the inputs.
All you have to do is check the checkbox in the settings.

You can get "toggle" functionality with flip/flop circuit like 74hc73.

    Re: Input assignment

Thank you for the help tantemay but my intention, in addition to security, was to have different E-Stop inputs for the various error situations so as to immediately recognize, via the input panel, which device went into error; I am aware of being able to reverse the Pin functionality through the settings but this unfortunately does not solve my problem. Even the temporary solution I implemented for the drivers sends the machine to E-Stop but to know which driver is down I have to get away from the car, open the picture and see which driver is in error .... uncomfortable and not very immediate; the machine, for "logistical" reasons, is on the opposite side of the laboratory compared to the electrical panel while the PC monitor is on the side at a distance of one meter.
Nothing disastrous but by now I had become accustomed in this way with the old program.

OK, thanks for the Toggle circuit diagram ... I'll definitely implement it.
