We have an Okuma Multus B300 with OSP-P200L control. I need to mill a pocket on the OD of a turned part but the OD surface is tapered 10 deg and the pocket floor is parrallel to the 10 deg angle. Is there a function that will rotate the plane to match this ? or basically how do I program this ?

The term you were looking for was Slope Mode or Slope Machining. What you see with the G174 is that the machine is shifting the x X/Y/Z zero from the original position and moving it up 4.0 in -X- & -1.5 in -Z- @ and G127 to set the angle of 10 deg. Now the machine is in slope mode and all the -X- -Y- & -Z- are taken from that shift point. We use this feature often & it works well. You just next to watch you starting clearance before you go into slope mode because you shifting the machine coordinate. Hope this helps.
