Doosan Lynx 220L lathe chuck issue

    Hi everyone,

I'm getting a #2060 'CHUCK UNCLAMP STATUS' warning. The chuck opens and closes fine using the foot pedal but whether I try to start the spindle on manual or simply run the program this message appears.

There was a similar question asked already but it seemed to be related to the actual opening/closing of the chuck...

It's not a door interlock issue and I'm not trying to use a bar feeder. The program has been used recently on this machine so I dont think it could be a coding problem either.

    Any ideas much appreciated, thanks!

    Tom

If you have proximity switches on the back of your actuator then it is measuring over stroke and Chuck open. Either set the proximity switches correctly, or Chuck up on a part, or turn them off to bypass them.
