hy, notch type is there to assure that the contact is done in both areas : upper and lower; this is a trick to avoid uneven contact, at least theoretical
downside is that using a notch type for too long will generate a specific wear inside the spindle, and may lead to fly-out issues if a non-notch/classical toolholder is used
i would gently advise you to stick with the cone types that you allready use; also, you may inspect your toolholders, especially the ones that you use most, so to have a clue about your current contact area; if it is not the same among different toolholders, then ... take a guess kindly
ps1 : if you wish 4 something extra, then use nikken's 3point contact, with elastic taper, but this would be too much for a mere er32
