    Mach 3 tuning

When I finished making my external Speed and Feed Override inputs to Mach 3, one of the inputs sits at 101% and so is continuously bringing up the 'Overriden' Warning.
I'm using 'centre detented' pots so not much I can do about that.

Anybody know if there is a way to desensitize Mach3 so it doesn't see any change until , say 5% either way?
    Some sort of damping?

I don't know how to fix it on the software side, but you can add a permanent resistor (or a trimpot) to make the detent position exactly 100%.

Thinking about it some more, I think you are right.
I'll take the device apart and measure the resistances on each side, at the centre position, then add in a trim pot to the low side so i can adjust the centre point.
    Should be all good.
Will be interesting to see what the difference is. I did not expect to see an error.
I did reduce the range to +_50% so I guess a 1% error on MAch 3 represents a 2% error in the pot.

You can also replace the "overridden" LED with a user LED, and use a macropump macro to control it.
