Unhappy 100 p/s alarm STUCK MDI MODE

    Hello,

I have a FEMCO CNC Mill with Fanuc O-M Control
Trying to set the rs232 setting a guy blocked the control.

Now when turn the machine on I get the following alarm.

    100 p/s alarm

    - 417 x axis servo alarm
    - 427 y axis servo alarm
    - 437 z axis servo alarm

The PWE right now is 1 but when I try to change it to 0 I cant, on the screen a message is blinking (NOT READY) and a cannot change from MDI to any other mode.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you,

    Raul

    DO NOT CLEAR MEMORY.
Look at your parameters: do they look ok? Record your parameters and diagnostics (photograph each page?)
If you have a back-up, correct the parameters that are wrong. Pay special attention to the 900 series (options). The 100 alarm indicates that the power has to be cycled, because an important parameter has changed.
Push Estop: sometimes you need that to change parameters.

Parameters look good. The problem is that I dont able to make changes, the only inputs that I'm allowed to do are in the offset page. Is any other way to disable the Parameter Write Enable?

    Thanks for your help.

The ps 100 just means PWE is a 1 turned on the 3 servo errors with the not ready flashing make me think the machine is not powered up all the way, is there an Estop pushed some where is the another botton you need to push to get the machine in the ready state if not you may have a power supply that has failed.

1: MDI mode is forced by any alarm/Estop.
2: on some controls Estop AND MDI have to be active before parameters can be changed.
3: the control has a dedicated Estop input (connector M1 pin 19); if the control being in Estop mode is the only real problem, trace the Estop signal (check overloads). That problem is likely electrical- not control.

    417, 427, and 437.

this is what you get when you clear memory, i am fairly sure that they were loading thu rs232, something happened awry like ps101. then to clear this memory got cleared. Hence 4x7 alarms and 100 alm. recheck your parameters not diags.

Since part of the diagnostics are actually PMC parameters, they are important too.

    Hi everybody,
After reading your replies I am pretty sure that the memory was cleared.
Now the alarms that the control shows are:

    - 417 x axis servo alarm.dgtl para
    - 427 y axis servo alarm.dgtl para
    - 437 z axis servo alarm.dgtl para

What I can tell is that I need to reload the 900´s parameters as well as the 8000´s.
I already did the 900´s from an old back up that found in the electric cabinet.
The machine is a FEMCO CNC Mill (fanuc o-m) the last back up is from 1996.
Some of the 900´s did not work correctly.

Does somebody happen to have the 900,s for that kind of machine and their meaning?

As well as a way to figure out the 8000,s.

I really appreciate your help guys,

    Thanks

I can't get the operators panel to come on so I can reload memory. I need the edit button.
