    generic mastercam haas post

Gentleman, I recently acquired a used haas vf-3 mill to replace an older Leblonde Makino that went down. I'm running an old version of mill v9 and when I try to post it out using the generic 4 axis haas post I keep getting an error of illegal character line 192, see attached image. anyone ever ran across this? I had been using a fanuc post for the makino which worked fine & believe that I read somewhere that it will also work on the haas. unfortunately the haas is not powered up yet so I have no way of checking. Just trying to get ahead of the game. Thanks for your help.

yes the haas is 4th axis capable but currently not set-up for it. the post for the makino is a modified fanuc post for a fanuc 6m controller and I'm not sure it will work on the haas. when i try to use the generic haas post that is in mastercam is when I get the error message.
