    Question How to Switch Gears on a Lathe

    Had a repair guy come out and fix a problem I was having with my Wasino Lathe. He fixed it but left the lathe in low gear. I have never run it in anything but high gear and have no idea how to switch it. Is it a code you input into the control or a parameter or something else. Any help would be appreciated. It has a Fanuc 10T control. Thanks.

    M41 high
    M40 low
    M code for each manufacture is little difference so check your manual.
    The best way to learn is trial error.
