    buildyourcnc.com

    Hey folks

Patrick over at buildyourcnc.com was released his new design - Blacktoe.

While I can't speak for the quality of his kits, he has been very inspirational to me and my planned build is based on his v1.3 kit. Patrick's build video's are great and fun to watch.

I'm surprised that his designs don't generate much traffic in the zone. His newest kit is art!

Well I'm off to complete my controller box.

Has anyone had a controller that went bad? What did you do to replace it? I have been told that my controller has gone hay wire. I am open to suggestions for an easy replacement that won't break the bank. I am needing a controller that is compatible with Mach 3. The company that made up my controller no longer exists, so getting a new board from them is out of the question.

    Hi,
the Ethernet Smoothstepper ($225) is a Mach3/Mach4 compatible motion controller. Should be paired with a good breakout board, the MB3 ($190) by CNCRoom is a good example.
