    Mach3 Tool Table

    , John DiMarino <[email protected]> wrote:
Up to now I have been cutting using contour for all my machining needs . I wanted to start using "V carve" instead . The CAM software (Carbide Create) request that I select a V Bit with either a 90° angle Tool #301 or a 60° angle Tool #302 which in this case is #302 and generated the Gcode (M6 T302) . After loading the Gcode into Mach 3 , I receive the following message.
Selected Tool slot number too large, Block=M6 T302 Line 7
My understanding is that in the Mach3 Tool Table slot number, is associated to the corresponding Tool Number. My question is, how do I add the Tool Number 301 to the Mach3 table when the maximum number of slots are 253.
I greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide me with .
    Thanks
    John
