    Suggestions for DIY CNC router

    Hello,

I'm building a hobby CNC router and I would like to get some suggestions.
My router will be based on 2x1000mm Y axis, 1x1000mm X axis and a 300 mm Z axis. I would like to work with acrylic mostly but possibly also with aluminium.
You can see a render of the machine to get an idea.

According to Fusion 360 (giving standard aluminium physical material to the extrusions) the Y axis should support 20kg of mass plus the weight of the linear rails, the ballscrews and the spindle(weight of those 20kg of mass should be around 196 kN but I don't know if fusion 360 considers the mass as weight, anyway those aluminium extrusions are 10x45x180 but I have no idea about how much those extrusions weight, it seems reasonable to me that those 20kg actually represents the weight).
The X axis should basically support only the Z axis and the spindle.

I would like to go with speeds higher than 1000mm/min at least, 2000mm/min would be perfect.

    My questions are:

1)What is a good diameter for the ballscrews for each axis? (SFU2005 on the render)

2)I would like to use chinese ballscrews (vendor on eBay is RattmMotor). Is it safe? Are them good?

3)On the render I used 2 linear rails for each Y axis but I would like to spend less and put only one
for each (20mm genuine HGR20 Hiwin linear rails with 2 blocks each). Is it safe?

4)What motor size and torque should I use? (Nema 34 one the render)

5)I planed to use stepperonline closed loop stepper motor. Are them good? Is it worth to spend more for closed loop for this kind of machines?

    Thanks.

Did you forget to attach the rendering?

In my view of the post is just under the final "thanks". The file is called Aluminium_router_2020-Feb-01_08-59-04PM-000_CustomizedView1670790618.jpg . Maybe I attached it in a wrong way.
