Good Afternoon,
I am having trouble with relative positioning on my Fanuc OM. When we set-up a job
we home out machine and zero relative. We do this because older fanuc reads in metric and cannot be changed. What is happening is when I touch of with edge finder to edge of part, I put that number in g54 offset based on relative and machine zero. Where something changed is when I change G54 x-15.00 say to x-15.25 it changes my relative position even though I didn't move the machine. And if I re-home the machine it is no longer at x0 it will read what is in my g54 offset. It never did that before. I've checked everything I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
