Touch of Plate with axbb-e help needed

    G'day folks,

I have an axbbe controller and wanting to add a touch off plate.

Trolled the forums and it seems simple enough, watched and downloaded macro from you tube - Paul from cncnutz.

    Not happening for me atm,

    As I understand it,

Connect wire to an input second wire to a ground.
Configure uccnc input add port and pin active low and you should be good.,

The axbbe inputs is confusing me I have inputs 11 to 16 with + and -.

In my case Im adding wire to pin 11+ and a wire to a ground.
configure uccnc pin 11 port 2

I get a solid green light.

Am I meant to wire the 11- to anything, I cant find anything specific to the axbbe so totally confused.

    Cheers,
    Steve

    to use isolated input 11

you need to connect 11+ to the +24V supply and 11- to the - 24V supply

your limit switch needs to either break the +24V 0r - 24V connection

this example in the manual shows the N/C switches breaking the negative connection

    Hey John G'day,

Thank you for taking the time to reply.

I did try that, but for what ever reason when trying to set the ports and pins it would not allow me to set pin 11 port 2 it would only let me set pin 11 port 3 but port 3 is where my UCSB sits. The axbb box clearly says the inputs are port

I did get it going but I ended up using the UCSB attached to the axbb which was fine with the pin and port setting.

Just got in from the garage not so happy having to nut that out.

Thank you for the link, I had the manual already.. the issue in the end was when uccnc wasnt going to have a bar of port2.

    Cheers,
    Steve

Your problem is that on the AXBB-E there is no pin 11. in the port#2, but it is I1 in other words Input1 and not 11.
Just like how there is I2 and not 12.

Thank you very much, I do wear glasses nowadays for reading I guess not strong enough. I have been reading them all as 11, 12, 13, 14 etc well !#@$!%!^! ....

Olf I appreciate your taking the time to reply, now I can go sit in my workshop and look stupid on my own for a half hour or so..
