Hello, I just bought a 1998 Fadal 4020, My technician was able to make it work, but the limits on the X Axis are wrong. It just moves 10 inches to the right and 10 inches to the left from the machine Home. It is supposed be 20 inches . I see on the parameters, that we have the configuration X40 Y20 Z20.
We change it to X60 Y30 Z30, and I can move the X Axis 15 inches to the right and 15 inches to the left.
Can someone help me ?

I take it when you move the X the X axis moves, and when you move the Y axis, the Y axis moves. If that is the case, the to make sure
Somebody didn't swap Axis control cards and not set them properly for the correct axis?

I think anything else would cause the incorrect axis to move.

...agree with rwskinner. What version Axis Cards do you have installed?
need to check your axis cards for eeprom's and Jumper settings on each card.

Thanks, the jumpers were the problem, the X axis card was configure like a Y axis.
