CNC Plasma - Start Machine Motion

    Hello.

I am currently running a Hyperhterm Powermax 45xp in my cnc setup. I am running the standard CNC usb controller software and I am thinking about upgrading to TNG when I will start upgrading my table.

However I was looking through my Operator Manual for my 45xp and noticed that I have access to a output on my machine which tells the Software that the Arc has been initiated and that the machine can start moving. I would like to implement this in my setup but I can't find any options for this in the CNC usb controller software.

Is there an option for this in TNG or in CNC usb controller?

I'm struggling with some missfires once in a while which is very annoying because I have to go back and find out excactly what hole was supposed to be done. Which can take a while if I'm cutting 3 or 5mm.

    Any help appreciated!

TNGv2 has an option to use "Arc OK" signal.

    Great!

I'm using the THC SD and not the 150, is that still ok? It won't affect anything right?

Ok great, I will give it a shot.

How is the command/signal interpreted in the software though? It send signal to machine to start arc, then it pauses until it gets the arc ok signal? So "Pierce delay" timer is started after the software receives "arc ok" signal?

In THC is enabled (G-Code M54P1) then motion commands will wait until ArcOK signal is present (assuming you use this pin).

Ok, so pin nr 1-8 = Input pin number?

Hopefully it will work as I won't be using the 150 but the SD who regulates itself. It seems as if the 150 probably would have been a better choice atm.
