Is there a way to upgrade my firmware safely on my machine :

HMI FILE : 1.006.J2

Firmware 1.004

General CNC i-Carver: 40-915 X

Since you haven't gotten any help here, I'll try. I don't have a lot of cnc experience, but I have an I-carver that I am slowly figuring out. Try to get in touch with Steve Stevenson or Jeremy Stevenson from Iconic/Axiom CNC. They worked for General CNC before it shutdown and then went on to create Iconic CNC, which was recently purchased by Axiom. Steve especially has been extremely helpful.

For what it's worth I think your firmware is outdated, but I don't know how to change it or have any files to share. I just know it's different from mine.

i had to go to the first program 1.4 or something like that on my General.
