Hello,

I´ve been assigned to get back to operation a Robodrill. The machine was in production line for a specific operation, due to this it had some fixtures and sensors to ensure the proper operation was being performed. Beside the VMC is a little control that was used to operate the fixture, it also shows in a display the troubles regarding to start the cycle, the signals are related to X adresses. I read the ladder in the machine and found what I have to modify in order to let the machine free to work.

My situation is that I don´t known how to backup the ladder to the Memory Card and I can´t edit the ladder in the machine because is password protected. I did SRAM but this doesn´t download the ladder, so could you help to figure this out, please.

One method to backup the ladder is through the Boot System. Section Appendix C in Maintenance Manual.

The Fanuc Robodrill has a "Custom PMC". Was this additional fixture automation done through this? (If not, it should have!!)

Nowadays I'm not able to be in factory, let me see next week what I can check. I don´t remember any custom PMC, but I´m not sure right now.
