Emco F1 Mill Z axis not moving in the negative direction

    Hi everyone
I have an emco f1 mill and it moves in the positive direction but it won't move in the negative direction. I'm not sure if this is due to a loose wire or not. I would would appreciate any help.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Is your machine an F1 or F1P?
I can only answer for the F1 school machine
Does it not work in both CNC and hand mode?
If only in hand mode it can be the -Z button or the solder joints or the leads of the button.
Check the 2 solder points with an Ohmmeter on the CPU board, when pressing the button you must measure 0 Ohm.
Of course unplugged from the mains!
