    What paint for perspex???

I am having problems painting Perspex. I have used a V cutter to cut football badges and using the backing plastic as a mask. The paint am using is acrylic Tamiya model paint. Unfortunately when carefully peeling away the backing plastic chunks of paint are lifting away. Undercost was used and light coats applied with an airbrush.

Is their a more suitable paint or do I require some sort of etch primer????

ive never dealt with perspex but have had the same probs with others you can use a self etching primer but i have found that plastic adhesion promoter tends to work nicely such as and adhesion promoter they use on automotive bumpers to keep paint from peeling i found the stuff i used at the local auto paint store it either comes by the quart or in a rattle can hope i helped

The best stuff is adhesion promoter called Bulldog. You can buy spraycan in walmart or autobody supplyer. Works great with plastic aluminum glass chrome.
You can spray bulldog and while its wet spray paint.
