Mach3. Win10 ESS

I had to reload Mach to the new hard drive and everything works in he Config column except MOTOR Tuning, when I click on it the column disappears and motor tuning doesn’t display???
Any ideas

Try re-installing Mach3. This is a common issue, but I don't know the actual cause of it. The first two links I got from Google said to re-install.

I was running Mach3 and Smoothstepper, and burnt a flash drive of the Mach folder.
Had the hard drive fail and installed a new on, loaded Win 10, and after Windows was completed I copied the Mach flash drive over to the new HD, ran SCU and got Mach working with the PC again the only thing that didn’t work was motor tuning.
I just erased the Mach folder and copied the flash drive over again per your suggestion and I had the same problem with the motor tuning. Think something happened the the flash drive copy of Mach.

I’m thinking of downloading a fresh copy from Artsoft. But I will loose a lot of details I had set up. Guessing I can just take a lot of screen shots for reconfiguring the new copy.
Any suggestions?? Is this the best approach?

Copying from a flash drive is not re-installing. I think your problem is because you didn't actually run the installer.
Just save your .xml file, which contains all the settings.
Or, try installing from scratch, then copying your old version over the newly installed version. That should work too.

If I copy my old version over the new one a won’t that overwrite the new files?

Yes, but the problem is that a component that the Motor tuning needs is not being installed.

Ill be ordering that 2017 screenset to run with Mach3 and the SmoothStepper as soon as everything is working smoothly

The 2017 Screenset does NOT work with Mach3. It's a UCCNC screenset.
