    Fanuc noob question q setter

    Hello,

    We recently purchased a Doosan 2100 LB with Fanuc control.
    I'm not very familiar with this control yet. I wasn't sure if I'm using the q setter properly.
    I'm running the Q setter on X and Z on a roughing tool. Light is going red to green. Then i'm setting my G54
    My question is after q setter is set shouldn't X be 0 when I move my tool to the center of the piece? Right now it is not.

    Only if you have told the control you are using that tool in MDI
