Red face Roland Modela MDX-3/Picza PIX-3

If any body could help me, I have just acquired stewardship of a Modela MDX-3 and Picza PIX-3 Tandem of machines. I have not been able to find the original drivers, all the updates seem to be out there but not the original Dr Picza bundle that came with the machines which leaves me all revved up and no place to go. These machines have never been used , so if any body could help me it would be greatly appreciated ,

    Modela Pixza 3

I have the complete bundled software. Do you have an FTP site I could upload it to?

    Hi Sal
Is that offer still open ,My website may be able to have ftp upload.
I would love to have that bundle as I lost my disc about 6 years ago and the only piece of the bundle that works without install and just copy to new computer is the modela player. It would be great to try out the engrave and design.

    thanks

    Sal,

I am in a similar position, I have moved recently and have lost my disc. I don't have an ftp site, but do you think you could upload it to megaupload or rapidshare, or any other file sharing website you may use?

    Thanks

I also would like this bundle as I just found one of these machines in a storage locker without any of the software. However I do not have an FTP account. Is there anyway that someone can help me out with getting this software?

    Thanks

Picza and Modela Software Bundle Sent

    Fausto,

I have sent you everything anyone could every need for any one of the Roland PIX or MDX series machines. I've included all the manuals and a tutorial movie as well. Install from the CD menu first before installing updates. The latest version updates may not work properly with the older version MDX machines so check them out carefully and make sure all functions work. (Check for this glitch: See if you can add a new toolbit size, if you can't roll-back to the next earlier update.) Aside from that MDX update issue, all the PIX updates and evrything else works great. I sent it in a RAR file. (47MB) Let me know if you got it. It's has been checked for viruses as well. Good luck.

    Regards,
    Sal

    Hi everyone,

I have just acquired an MDX-3 without the software and the links below don't seem to work any more.

Can anyone help - I have an FTP site if that helps.

Roland have lots of stuff on their site but I can't find the bundled software. I don't want to spend money on better software until I am sure it works.

    Any help gratefully received!!

    TIA
    David

    Big thankyou!!

    Hi Fausto,

Thanks very much for posting the files again, I downloaded them and tried them on my desktop (Vista) software ran but driver would not load, I downloaded an XP driver from the Roland site and whilst this loaded it wouldn't talk to the engraver, so I tried it on my W98 laptop and everything worked perfectly first time - brilliant.

    Thanks again.

    Hey guys,

I just got a PIX-30 digitizer and I am unable to locate the software online.
Does any of you still have the files? FTP upload or any other way would be highly appreciated.

    Thanx

I still have all the stuff Fausto sent me and some other stuff I found although I did not have the digitiser so I don't know if that software is included. I can put this on my FTP site if you want, it's 183MB total. Please PM me and I'll send you the details.

    Re: Roland Modela MDX-3/Picza PIX-3

I've acquired an MDX-3 and have "bodged" together a powersupply for it and have managed to get it connected up, but I cannot get Vpanel etc. to see it.
I need the drivers, however Roland have obviously discontinued support for this model now, so there aren't any available for Windows 10. Does anyone know of any updated drivers, a driver for another machine that will do the same job, or any other way to get it to work?

I'm still fairly new to all this so forgive my "newbie" attitude.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks
    -Zack
