    just letting everyone know on ebay i saw that there there are metric collets available for xcarve dewalt DWP611
    4mm 6mm 8mm


    seems metric shank bits are very common nowadays


    many of the engraving v bits have 6mm shanks

    seems metric shank bits are very common nowadays
    Only when they come from China.... Or you live outside the US.

    Metric is and has been the standard worldwide
    US is just behind but eventually will be all metric..

    If u search ebay and bangood and ali express you will see metric shanks more common

    Anyways its good to have several collets not just 1.

    And as a bonus if u get a 4mm collet it doubles as a 5/32 collet and if u get a 8mm collet it doubles as a 5/16 collet

    I may buy some next week payday
