    TB6600_T4 Problems

Bought a SainSmart CNC Router 4 Axis Kit, TB6600 4 Axis Stepper Motor Driver, Mach3 5 Axis Breakout Board, 4pcs Nema23 270oz-in Motor from Amazon in late December. It has a TB6600-T4. Just finished building my CNC. All good except I am not getting any voltage out to motors. Put test leads directly on screw connections to Motor’s - No Voltage !
Was running it at exactly 40 volts, then dropped to 30 just as a test. Either way I am getting 2.7 volts from the test ground to each of the four test points. Even checked the 4 round capacitors for each motor connection; showing 38.8 volts. Green indicator lights are coming on for each axis during test. Even A as it is slaved to Y.
Using it with Mach3. Screen indicates movement In synch with the green indicator lights on the TB6600-T4.
Have reached an extreme level of frustration.
    Suggestions ??? Help Please.
Note: Same msg submitted to Sain Smart but with order info.

When the system is powered up and you are not attempting a move, can you turn the motors' shafts easily? If not, the controller is properly holding the motors.

    Re: TB6600_T4 Problems

Thank you for the reply. Here are the status of the drives/pullies:

    Everything off: Pullies Turn Easily
Control Boards On; not computer: Pullies Locked
Computer On; Mach3 not running: Pullies Locked
M3 Running, But No Gcode: Pullies Turn Easily
M3 Running, Sample Gcode Running: Pullies Turn Easily
End M3 Session: Pullies Turn Easily
Computer Shut Down; Control Boards Still On; Pullies Locked
    Everything off: Pullies Turn Easily

    Any ideas ? Thank You.

Those symptoms sound like the boards are being disabled when Mach 3 starts. Do you have the EN+ and/or EN- connection on the TB6600 connected? If so, remove them on one of the motor controllers and see what difference that makes.
