Hello...I was about to scrap a Steam Jenny steam cleaner last week. The steam coil is bad and I was in "clean house" mode.

It struck me that I actually have a nice vertical, oil fired furnace on wheels. I would have to line the chamber with a refractory material and monitor the surrounding temperature ( I may need to move the fuel oil tank to a remote location).

Has anyone seen this approach before? Any advice (positive or negative)? You won't hurt my feelings if I'm told to keep with my original plans to scrap it!!

I have not posted in this forum before. My aluminum casting experience has been limited to high school shop (25 years ago) but it's a process I've always wanted to have readily available.

Thanks...Bob
