    Question Fanuc 16MB Drip Feed

    Hello,

I recently picked up a Fanuc T10B Robodrill and I can't for the life of me figure out how to get it into RMT/REMOTE/Tape mode so I can drip feed it a program. I can move programs to and from the machine via RS232, but for larger programs I'm running short of memory space and would like to drip them in if possible.

There is no Remote/DNC hard or soft button anywhere to be found and I'm just super confused. Any help/direction is greatly appreciated!

    Joe

You can look in the ladder for G43.5. If its there, see what turns it on. If its not then a ladder change would be required.
There is also a chance it may require an option to enable it.

Check the software operator's panel. Found under the setting page.

    JLegend,
According to the Manual for "REMOTE" it is found on the "QUICK" screen.

Thank you for the response. I saw that too, but still can't seem to figure it out. I actually think that reference is for a different control than I have. Odd I know...but seemingly true.
