    Heidenhain Scale old LF183 C

    I replaced Heidenhain Scale on gear grinding machine old scale was LF 183 C new scale model LF185C after power On the axis is not referencing ,can somebody help me

    Hi Sundaraj51,

    Is the axis moving OK? LF 183C and LF 185C are distance coded scales which should be interchangeable without any issue. As per this, the machine should be able to find the reference within a 40 traverse.

    Which controller are you using? Some more information regarding the machine would be helpful
