    YAM lathe with 6t

Hi. I have small Yam CK2 lathe that I use only maybe a couple times a year for about 1 wk use. This year using the same part program that worked in previous years, the M00 program stop is not working correctly. When this line is executed , it is to illuminate the 'program stop release' push button and wait until the button is pushed. It is not illuminating this button and does not continue when the button is pressed. On the diagnostic screen I can seen addr 0037.0 change when this button is pressed so that seems to be working correctly. The light is actuated when addr 0001.4 is a 1 (true), but it stays a 0 (false). The thing is, that when the 'dry run' switch is activated, the light will illuminate. I can switch the 'dry run' off and light stays illuminated and when the 'program stop release' is pressed, the program will continue as it should. The program will also run as it should in the 'dry run' mode.
Does anyone have a idea as to what I should be looking for?

M30 stops and rewinds to beginning like it should.

Try stopping spindle , turning off coolant etc to see why it's not stopping
