First, we tested the aluminum metal, using a tool: 2 fluts end mill with 6mm shank diamete, set three different feed depth, Spindle speed, Feed speed, and then compared the time consumption of 57 Stepper motor and 400W servo motor. It can be seen from the above table that under different parameter settings, the time taken by 400W servo motor is about 40% of 57 Stepper motor.


In the second comparison, we used a copper for comparison. The tools used are: 4 fluts end mill with 6mm shank diameter. The parameter setting is the same as the above aluminum engraving. The time of 400W servo motor is about 60% of 57 Stepper motor

For the third comparison, we used 45 # steel material for comparison. Because this material has a higher hardness, we set Feed Depth to 0.3mm and 0.5mm, Spindle speed to 9000RPM, and Feed speed to 900mm / min and 800mm / min, 400W servo motor takes about 40% of 57 Stepper motor.

According to the above three comparative tests, we can see that in the three materials of aluminum, copper and 45 # steel, our 400W servo motor takes only about 40%, 60%, 40% of 57 Stepper motor.
