Our VMX42 MAX Single Screen build date 2005, monitor has failed in the past with the previous owner, he then had a 240V computer monitor fitted over the top of the original monitor.
The new owner wants to return the monitor back to original, which is the correct thing to do in my opinion.
The trouble is we purchased a replacement monitor from Germany, but it looks nothing like the monitor in our machine, to fit this monitor we would have to build a whole new housing, the suppler is adamant that he has supplied the correct monitor and that he also supplies Hurco with this monitors.

The Hurco part number on our monitor is 007-0022-007L and the actual screen is a Philips LB121S02 (AB).
The parts manual doesn't list the monitor separately, but has it as an assembly that includes the touch screen, 007-0022-009 ASSY, LCD & TOUCHSCREEN, MAX

There is no where on the new screen to mount the 415-0628-901 ASSY, FLAT PANEL NODE, PCB, so nothing at this stage is adding up?
Looks to me like the supplied screen is for an earlier model or visa versa??

Screen on the right is for a Dual Screen Max 4 Console.
He may have been thinking all VMX42's were dual screen.

Thanks Powerr, we have sent him numerous photos of the Max 4 single control inside and out side, plus some more today.
I could not find a Hurco single screen part number in the parts manual for the Max 4, could only find the part number for the Ultimax duel screen 007-0022-003.

We will keep trying.

Still having problems, supplier has told us to gut the old monitor, break the mounts off the screen supplied and cut up the housing make his screen fit.
Boss is not interested in doing this but maybe that is what we have to do?
Trouble here is that will be a one way street as far as I can see.

Hi All
Ok one step forward and one backwards today, fitted a new Philips monitor and still no go, so video card is the problem.
Removed the video card, stripped down the monitor housing that was supplied and and found that the monitor inside was very similar and indeed had the same mounting hole positions.

Fitted the new video card and monitor powered up and on power up a couple of errors showed up, monitor works looks good but now no keyboard so could not go any further, we have a new touch screen coming.

"CORRUPT DATA DETECTED INTERGRATOR PARAMETER FILE, WILL IGNORE CORRUPT DATA AND PROCEED"

Is this why the keyboard has stopped working, no lights/nothing, any ideas?
