I have Okuma MDB with OSP-7000M, the battery was flat, so I need the software for reinstall to my machine, I'm willing to buy it

All machines come with software in the electrical cabinet. If yours is gone, then you will need to get a new set from Okuma through your local distributor. Software is machine specific by serial number although if you can find the same machine with the same hardware spec, their software will work in a pinch.

So it’s software is gone from the electrical cabinet? There are only a handful of those machines around and most are built with very specific options. That control is 4 generations old so your odds aren’t too good.

hy, with a bit of luck, you may succed ... but i am reserved about chances

like mr wizard said, software is unique for each machine; even on modern identical machines, you can not install same software pack

i am not sure if the software also includes machine parameters, as i once heared that someone failed to install the osp, so it was needed that a japanese would came and re-initialize his parameters

those software are pretty well packed ( okuma protection ), making it hard for a mere mortal to make a software compatibile across different machines

in the end, you may still need to contact an okuma agent / kindly
