On my LB15 (1990) all of a sudden when I try to send data to the lathe I get this error "2561 RS232C ready interrupt time out error".
From lathe to PC no issues. Never see this before.
Same cable same programs. Any ideas?

Maybe there is a wrong parameter set
"Imagination is more important than knowledge."
Your error message means that it is not receiving the “go” signal in the allotted time. Check Parameters like Kurmay says to see if XON/XOFF or software handshaking is selected. Not very likely the machine settings changed but much more possible on the PC. Check there first then be sure to READ on the machine before sending from the PC.
Best regards,
Experience is what you get just after you needed it.

...good time to backup the Parameters what ever they are set at currently...if you can still send to PC. other possible things to check I've seen failed/weak memory batterys cause problems. Bad grounding, RF noise near the cable.
I am facing the same issue now. But when I checked the parameters it looks like it has gone back to the original values. I changed parameters back to what is recommended in the online forums to no result. Has there been a fix for this issue?
Did You try to find out the reason of the fault?a fix for this issue?
