THK combined LM rail with gear rack

    Hi all.

I'm in the process of designing a CNC router. The Table will be 4m x 1.8m approx..
Has anyone used the THK LM GSR-R combined linear rail with integral gear rack?
    If so any feedback?

    Cheers GV

Nope haven’t done that. However such a rail system should reduce alignment errors.

I'm going to assume that it's far more expensive than most DIYers would be willing to spend. But It's probably a very good system.

Ok so got in touch with the distributor today.
    Wont work.
Too expensive about AU$6000 for 10Lm
Also they have to be fixed flat, I want to mount them on the side of the machine so another linear rail would be needed to stop I flexing off.
