    Can anyone ID this part

    I just picked up a used CNC mill.

    It came with this part. I'm pretty certain it's nothing original to this specific mill but I have no idea what it is.

    The mill also came with a box containing a pcb for a telephone PBX :-) so it's possible it has nothing to do with milling.

    It's about 9" tall, 3" diameter.
