Not on the DC machines, but maybe on the AC machines with a servo drive. I have a DC so I can't answer that for the AC.
You can change the simple orientation speed but I'm sure that's not what you were asking.

No you can not change the tool change speed. Fadal only had 2 types of Umbrella ATC's Geneva driven and the Servo driven. The only benefit the Servo gave is that you could get to any tool location within 2-3 seconds.

You might as well start up smoking. I've always thought the tool change time on a Fadal was just about right for a cigarette break.

That's why they are popular with mold makers. If a mold takes 40 hours to make we don't really care if we save a few seconds on a tool change. By the way. I have a dual arm Fadal toolchanger. All things being equal I would rather have the extra clearance then the faster tool speed. I'm not a production shop. Sure I'd love a super fast machine but with all the hand operations in what I do an old Fadal suits me just fine. PLus I can rebuild them with duct tape and bailing wire with my eyes closed and Rodney's help.
