Cincinnati Milacron Avenger 250T power help

So I picked up this CNC Turning Center at an auction today for $160. I don't know if it works but, even if it's totally trashed there's about $1,000 in tooling in it so I figure I can't really lose. The problem I see already though is that my 3 phase generator produces 240/480 at 60Hz and the plate on the machine calls for 230 at 50 Hz so, what are my options? I don't want to spend a ton on something that might not work. What's the risk of hooking it up to 60 Hz power to test it? The control is 110, single phase 60Hz so I'm not going to damage the electronics. I'm assuming it's just the motors that are 3 phase, will power at the wrong frequency cause serious damage?

    Thanks in advance!Attachment 446666

I think you'll be fine. The 3 phase motors (hydraulic pump (if equipped) and coolant pumps should be 50/60 Hz) The spindle and servos are driven with their own drives, so won't even know it is running 60 Hz.

Cool, thanks. I'll hook it up and give it a whirl then. Guess I'm not really out much if it blows up.

I really don't have any use for it, not even sure what I'd use it for honestly. For the price though, I couldn't pass it up. Maybe it runs and I can leverage it into a mill, which I could use.

Here are the pics from the auction. I haven’t seen it in person, looks like it’s been outside a while so I don’t have real high hopes that it’s functional.Attachment 446670
