I would like to monitor terminal 5(error/reset) remotely with visual indication leds (green and red), so my question is how much current can I source/sink on terminal 5 without activating terminal's intended purpose. I have acquired a four foot square metal cabinet with one inch thick plate aluminum top where my mill is located. All my hardware has been moved into cabinet and would like to extend some monitoring references to small display box on top of cabinet. If direct led connection with current limiting resistor would activate terminal 5, then transistor interface with extremely small current sink/source could be used to drive led's. I intend to maintain a momentary manual switch to perform reset/error on terminal. I do daisy chain my g320x drives terminal 5's, so any axis error kills mill activity. Hopefully I have stated this correctly since this is the only forum I know of that will not allow editing by member of one's own thread. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
