    3D printer CAM

    Hello all
Curious as to what software is popular among 3D printer users?
    Thanks

There are a number of "slicers' used for this that are commonly included with printers. Usually they are free, but there are some you can pay for, if you're not satisfied with the one you've got. None are very expensive.

I've been using Ultimaker Cura as my slicer software since I built my printer about a year and a half ago. For the price (free!), I can't complain.

The printer came with creality software but fairly basic. I'm looking for a decent software that allows manipulation of models. Mostly to break down larger prints into parts that fit the print area.

That's not usually something you'll find in a slicer. You'd do that in a CAD program. Which one to use depends on the types of models you're making.
