The previous CNCUSB Controller program provided configured “State” and “Programs” tabs that showed setup parameters and program information that were conveniently located on tabs. I found these State and Program tabs to be very useful.

TNG2 has two default State tabs: GCode and IO. There is also the capacity have as many as 30 tabs in total. It is my understanding that additional tabs must be created from scripts. Is there a tutorial that shows step-by-step how to create a new tab, including a list of the syntax that could be used to include each feature?

Better yet, is there an example or script template that could serve as a foundation for building a custom State script simply by substituting or modifying the template?

I think a script template for many customizable features of TNG2 would allow users who lack script programming skills and knowledge to unlock more useful features and overall potential from the software.

Are there plans to create such a template?

I should probably state that there is a blog entry at planetcnc.com that explains - in very general terms - how to create custom tabs ( https://planet-cnc.com/create-custom...-tng-software/ ); however, it would be much more helpful to have a template that could be modified to satisfy individual needs - especially for those of us that have no clue as to how to write a custom script with unique features offered by the software.
