    VFD Deceleration not working

    I have a Mophorn 220V 4KW VFD and a Mophorn Spindle Motor 4KW.

Everything works as it should except when it's time to stop.

I played a little bit more with it this morning that it does the same thing with REV as it does with FWD.

It seems that Deceleration doesn't want to work. If I change the setting to 'stop by itself' it will slow down and stop after about 50 seconds. When I change it back to 'stop by deceleration' it will not stop and I have to unplug it. This is the same from external input (FWD or REV) and also from the VFD panel.

I bought the VFD over a year ago so I am at a loss of what to do.

Anyone have experience with this problem?

    Joel

By "it will not stop" you mean the motor just continues to run when you issue the STOP command?

What is your deceleration time? Could it be that it was accidentally set to some extremely high value like 600 seconds?

Yes it will not stop, slow down or respond in any way. As for deceleration time, I’ve tried every time from 0-650 (that’s the range)

Do you have a PDF manual that you can post it seems you have some Parameters not set correct, it's not a good Idea to Plug and Unplug your VFD Drive if you get a spike it will be the end of the VFD Drive switch it off at the Breaker if you have to, Unplugging with the motor running it is going to damage the IGBT's
